A reply to Gosling3: Hey there a few things to note BEFORE you decide to make mention of someone elses mistake. 1:miyamoto musashi lived in late 1500s-middle 1600s. which is in fact 16th to 17th century. 2: l5r embraces many aspects of dominant asian culture to include mongols(unicorn woot) and the chinese (dragon monks). Even the Tao. Most of L5R feels as though it is sengoku period which had plenty of chinese influence as far as trade goes. so there ya have it. in short, the video rules.shut up

The video is apparently meant to represent aspects of the game Legend of the Five Rings. The game draws on aspects of feudal culture from both China and Japan. In other words, this person did in fact know what they were doing.

COMPLETE MIXTURE of China and Japan. Five Rings is the book written by Musashi Miyamoto, a samurai in 15th century in Japan. Music is Chinese.

True, but L5R draws not just from Japan but all of Asia. The Unicorn Clan in particular draws from Mongol influences.
