Well that blows my childhood love of Enid Blyton right out the window! Why is it things in this world are never what they appear to be on the outside? Still love her stories but the truth is depressing.

@EutuveX Not bad! The Harry Potter author was kind of like that. She was so poor that she wrote the Harry Potter books down on napkins and became richer than the queen! I'm sure Enid Blyton got that way to an extent.

I'm American and I actually found one of her books in a second hand shop! Don't know much about her like you English obviously do. Mark Twain is a huge storyteller over here! Do you English know who he is?

I love this,i must admit Enid Blyton is my favourite author but i read some of her books
I think this is one of Helena's best roles,i've seen it so many times now its ridiculous.I really am glad she was BAFTA nominated even though she didn't get it..Anyone who thinks Helena is not a good actress this is definitely one of the things they should watch...
