This song is from Whole Lotta Blues: Songs of Led Zeppelin, featuring Eric Gales on guitar. It is a cover of a song by the same name, which lyrics appear below. This song and the rest of this phenominal cd can be purchased online right now through iTunes and other online music outlets.

The Zeppelin version was loosely based on Robert Johnson's 1936 hit, Terraplane Blues. John Paul Jones wrote the clavinet riff in the Zeppelin version to respectfully mimic the well known riff in Stevie Wonder's 1972 hit, Superstition. Eric Gales takes this song and that riff to yet another level, returning to the blues roots in an old school funk arrangement Gales is famous for.

*****************************************************

Grease me down,
Good electric.
Like the way you hold the road,
Mama it ain't no sin.

Talking about love.
Talking about love.
Talking about.

Trouble free transmission,
Helps your oil flow.
Mama let me pump your gas,
Mama let me do it all.

Talking about love.
Talking about love.
Talking about.

Take that heavy metal,
Underneath your hood.
Baby I could rev all night,
Leave a big pile of tubes.

Talking about love.
Talking about love.
Talking about.

Automobile club covered,
Really built in style.
Special tradition,
Mama let me feast my eyes.

Talking about love.
Talking about love.
Talking about.

Factory air conditioned,
Took me by surprise.
Guaranteed to run for hours,
Mama brand new tires.

Talking about love.
Talking about love.
Talking about.

Grooving on the freeway,
Driving on the road.
From now on my gasoline
Will even be free of lead.

Talking about love.
Talking about love.
Talking about.

Come to me for service,
Every hundred miles.
Baby let me change your valves,
Fix your overdrive.

Talking about love.
Talking about love.
Talking about.

Fully automatic,
Comes in any size,
Makes me wonder what I did,
Before I got synchronized.

Talking about love.
Talking about love.
Talking about.

Baby like suspension,
I just couldn't hold.
I'm so glad I took a look,
Inside you showroom door.

Talking about love.
Talking about love.
Talking about.
