out of eagles, maples, silvertownes, libertads, pandas, which should i stil with? use to be there was price difference but today they all charge the same within cents except for eagles. i will stick with second tier rounds like pan american, engelhard, amark, and silvertownes.

silver american eagles are the biggest con currently (its a rip off) i wouldnt pay anything above $2.50 spot price..... .999 silver is silver, dont matter what the form or shape and size.... some people are paying over $55 for an ounce eagle....crazy people....they wont get a penny over spot price when the time comes to sell, the market will be flooded, but currently people are buying at that price

u got ripped off. spot price in many places is no more than 3 dollars but since u only buy one coin no big deal.

wow i am so happy i bought a nice stack at the beginning of january... Looks like eagles will be a relic and silver prices will be staying above 35 for awhile. did you see that silver.gold ratio today, omg , shows you there is more to come monday and tuesday.

$6 over spot is a bit overkill for a Silver Eagle.$8.50 for a half dollar is wonderful though. Buy junk silver only if your store sells junk silver 30% below spot.

@majingohan28 i thought it was overkills too, but when I saw that look in their eyes about the eagle( like they only had a few 2011) I thought i shoud grab it up. I wish I bought the other $8.50 Walking Liberty they had in that extra box behind the counter.

over here where i live there selling new uncirculated silver american eagles for 35.50

@smokeyblizzard sounds like a good deal, they used to be $2.50 over spot, they 2 months ago it went to $5, then with week $6 for 2011....crazy keep stacking!

The shop just made a mistake with selling the walking liberty for $8.50. You should have asked to buy more.
