    What technology exactly? That mobile phone in your pocket is almost guaranteed to be running on an ARM CPU, a British technology.

    Plenty of US inventions were also by none-US inventors as naturally with the US being such a big entity it has more money to throw at these people to turn their inventions into reality.

    The individual technologies that make up things we use every day are developed all over the world. So by no means is everyone just copying the US.

    The technology is the United States is far superior to all countries and the British basically copy us because they are allies and it's cheaper for them just to buy instead of developing their own. Russia has the second best as far as technology and China uses Russian technology, however China has the largest army in the world in terms of foot soldiers. All 4 have nuclear weapons.
