I first saw this in one of my classes. as soon as school was over I ran home to show my parents. my teacher asked me 'wat skills do u think u need to survive in the twenty first century. My mind came up wid blank. Now i kno the answer but will it be enough to be sucessful in life?

It won't be a significant player within two decades: it is an island. Most products and services will come from India and China: distribution-cost for shipping to an island called USA with a population of only couple of hundredmillions will be expensive. Therefore USA will lose the battle with India and China, not to speak about high labourcosts and enormous debts in america.

i'll have you know that the United States of America is the third most populous country in the world, behind china and india.

Besides, with automization we don't need cheap overseas labor. I'll see to that myself.

it might be the "third most populous country in the world" but that's only because of it's size if you took the EU as one country (I think it would be about the size of the US...) it would easily be more than the US population
besides the US population is not even 5% of the world population China is not quite 20% and India a bit over 17% it can't even compare

indeed, if Europe were one nation, it's population would be around 500 million, knocking usa down to 4th most populous.
