Black History Invitational Swim meet compilation

during the 1987-1989 Black History Swim meets in Wash., D.C., I was coaching for the DCPR while in Grad School at Howard Univ. Being in the film program, I had access to the video equipment and documented the early meets. This short is a draft of a promotional short I worked on for the meet and DCPR team programs. Unfortunately, the soundtrack did not survive the transfer process.

Chris Silva 1986 US National Team Captain for the World Championships Tom Dolan, Olympic Champion and World Record holder in 400 IM at age 12

Atiba Wade and Jason Webb -NCAA All-Americans and Olympic trials participants while swimming for the PDR team at 10 and 14 respectively
