I saw Willie play about 6 or 7 maybe more years ago for the first time in Jxn MS. I thought he was great, and I'm a tough judge having grown up in the cradle of the music. Saw him again several years later and was very disappointed, wasted $15 and left after the first song of his 2nd set. That said, before health or ? diminished his skills, he was a truly original artist not just playing the same tired riffs & stereotypical songs.
