The rancher has got an engine transplant, a 16HP twin cylinder briggs. Sounds pretty sweet.

  • did u put that pulley on it for a pull start or did it come like that

  • I made that crankstarting pully from a pnuematic trolley wheel's rim. worked out perfect utilising the threaded holes provided for use with a flywheel puller.

  • just not the same throttle response though

  • haha yea unfortunatly not... this is because the carby is still running the factory engine governor (an assortment of springs and crankshaft governor), if i went direct link to the butterfly the respose would probably improve.

  • i had that exact motor, it sounded really beast, till i cracked a cylinder

  • sounds like my 3hp briggs and stratton mower :P (without it's exhaust)
