Np...dunno about recommendation, but I did research this a lot before buying the sanyo. The EX1 was the only cam (its an slr btw) that would do continuous high fps recording at the time ( I think they do others now?) I chose the sanyo for the 1080p function, but gotta say it is a pain just grabbing 10secs at a time

yeah its 10 secs and 240fps too. As far as I know the Casio EX1 does continuous recording

shit seems really nice for under 500$ sanyo always seemed to have okey camcorders..... but sony beats all.

Definetly ! Handles great , good acceleration. and is pretty tough...cheaper than others like a Hyper.
