A ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway is more than a sightseeing trip through one of the most beautiful places in the South. It's also a history lesson and a trip back to a simpler time. But mostly, it's just a whole lot of fun.

It all starts at the historic 100 year old depot in downtown Blue Ridge Georgia, and heads North from there. As the train winds through the mountains alongside the beautiful Toccoa River, Car hosts will share the history of the Railroad. Snacks and souvenirs are available in the concession car, but the real treat is the ride!

I am glad these railroad folks was willing to work with you on this video. I offered to do one for them about 10 years ago and the jerk said if I "even pointed a camera anywhere near the train" he would call the cops and have me arrested. On what charge he was dreaming I don't have a clue.
