It is the commandment of God that we take care of His animals. Or pay the price. There is no excuse for starving or letting these cows starve..There is no justification for it whatsoever. Thank you for making this video.

WHATEVER YOUR EXCUSE IS, IT'S UNFORGIVABLE WHAT YOU PEOPLE HAVE
DONE TO THESE BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL ANIMALS. YOUR HUMAN BRAIN
DID NOT AND HAS NOT FUNCTION WELL.. YOU HAVE MADE THESE ANIMALS
SUFFER A HORRIFIC DEATH. DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO STARVE.
YOU HAVE HARMED, MADE SUFFER, AND KILLED THESE BEAUTIFUL
ANIMALS....I HAVE NO MERCY FOR YOU AND YOURS WHO DONE THIS
HORRIFIC INJUSTICE TO THESE ANIMALS.

@MrDucati1198s Think your mixed up mate, This is the CDU station there talking about not Mataranka village center. But i agree.. rip off bastards looking for tourist money and too lazy to cater for them

Head up all you students and others who did what they could to save these animals your great people! Locals wont let these bastards forget what they let happen! CDU is and always will be a second rate teaching facility. It's only saving grace is it's the only university in Darwin, what a load! Read the report and get your FACTS right.!!!!!

The Ombudsan Report link is posted above. The report shows how long this issue was covered up and the lengths that CDU took to cover up this neglect.
I understand that as of today the person or persons that were directly to blame for this shameful issue have yet to be charged and will not until laws change. We still need a voice for these cattle.

Please don't believe the lies that CDU Vice Cancellor Barney Glover has been speading through the media. He is ill informed with hear-say.
I pose the question of if this was a breeding problem why has CDU staff and DPI staff been given a gag order not to speak to the media.

He blames the problem on two issues.
The first was that a large sale of cattle prior to the dry season fell through "which meant we had more cattle on the station for the dry season than we would have liked".
The second was that there was a lack of a controlled mating program across the herd.
"We had calving out of season which put some distress on both the calves that were born and of course the cows themselves," he said.
"I can assure you that it won't happen again."
Now you know...
Fuckmedrunkokay 2 years ago
@Fuckmedrunkokay The complaints were made for locking weiner's in the yards at "Mataranka" Station, for 4 months and fed when ever it suited the manager. If you need more info on these cattle and the condition they were in call "Aust-Asia" in Katherine.
THIS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH LATE CALVING!! It was bad management!
NOW YOU KNOW!!

and the other thing i would like to no is there a folow up i would like to see photos of those same cattle now that the wet season is here and there is an abundance of green grass.
marty375 2 years ago
@marty375 I understand that now there is an abundance of grass now, however there was at the stage there was available food and these cattle were still starved. Nothing was done to maintain them. If you think that it is ok to starve cattle maybe you are in the wrong industry.
