@RickBangkok ME TOO!! I found Ajahn Brahm yesterday. I have been going through tremenedous internal changes. The heart pain I have been feeling the past month or so was tearing me up. I turned to Buddhism and Yoga the past 2 wks. I found Ajahn Brahms talks yesterday. His teaching helped me to alleviate my heart pain.

@beaterfred wow, your story is wonderful. Dhamma protects the one who practices it. Also please listen to some talks by Thanissaro Bhikkhu... Ajahn Braham's examples stories can be applied to life practically if you are mindful.. These talks are priceless.

"F is for friends.....who do stuff together"...(song lyrics) Well most of the younger generation will relate to this song, it is a song, on tv cartoon Sponge Bob, about converting someone who is mean to someone who is good through friendship.....and consequently your title "F is for Forgiveness" will definitely bring this to the minds of most youth in a good and happy way. :) It is the F.U.N. song on youtube

Your talks are the beacon of my life. I have always gained some useful insights from your talk. These serve as important reminders as I journey in this life. Life is hard enough. Your talks act like lubrication which serve to reduce the pain when life roughs me up.

Ajahn Brahms remarks about forgiveness and healing being at the heart of the legal system in Norway really hit home with me after the attacks in Oslo. It is enlightening to watch the differences in how Norway is dealing with this tradgty as opposed to the US after Sept. 11th.

There's a lot of negativity in my life right now, and sometimes it feels like I'll be overwhelmed by it. Knowing there are people like Ajahn Brahm in the world helps me manage. Even better, applying these wise teachings to my thoughts and mind helps me overcome. These talks are an absolute blessing. Thank you.

... MEANING it's about a 50/50 chance that something bad will work out for the better and on the chance that it doesn't you are trash but if it worked out you have no regrets and you try to tell everyone else to do what you did and if they don't listen they are trash and they just don't get it

the only problem I have with the end; it's easy to say now right? if you weren't, it wouldn't be, and you wouldn't be heard, and it wouldn't matter. It's like people who say if you never hit bottom, you wouldn't be rich, but you can hit bottom, and nobody hears from you, and so it doesn't negate that theory.....
@rickbangkok Yes, listen to his talks. I was in a very bad place when I found Ajahn Brahm also. One night things were so bad that I couldn't sleep, eat, read or do anything, my mind was all over the place and I just wanted to stop thinking and sleep, but I couldn't. So I went online at 5am and googled 'peace of mind'. Ajahn Brahm had a talk of peace of mind and I thought, no way I'm listening for a whole hour, but I'll try it out. I ended up listening to 2 talks, actually smiling at the end..
