in situations where you don't believe, then at least don't say anything. Just get down on yer knees and pray. Loretta was blessed with a wonderful voice and she remains true to who she is. Sweet and down to earth. God Bless Her!

(*Some sources say that Elvis did it first, but I'm almost certain that it was Anne Murray. At least Murray herself says so, unless she didn't know that there was a previous version by Elvis).

@neeyaoma I am not even a big country fan, but I do like Loretta Lynn very much and particularly when she sings spiritual songs. I agree about her remaining true to who she is. The result is that when she sings songs like this one that integrity and genuineness comes through.
