Families planning vacations in this economy need to see the truth about beaches in Florida. Tar balls are starting to show up on Palm Beach County beaches also now in mid July 2010. When the beach water in Palm Beach County starts to appear like this I will take video and post it out of fairness to the Panhandle shown in this video. This video footage is from June 26, 2010 in the Florida Panhandle. It is only now after the Panhandle Beaches Tar balls in this video have repeatedly been denied lately on national news media by Panhandle politicians and business owners that I have posted this video. Conditions at the beaches may change based on the weather and families need to plan accordingly with precious vacation funds. Tar balls are not floating as can be seen but roll in on the bottom with the waves. Sun turns the tar into a much more sticky state. Cleanup crews do very well at cleaning the beach sand but the water can contain the gooey tar balls within the waves. Skimmers can not remove this tar as you can see.

  • how kind of you to post this for others. don't forget the invisible truth: if tarballs are present, the toxic dispersant chemicals are most likely present as well. STAY OUT OF THAT WATER if you value your health!
