  • What a song, one of the best songs i have heard.

Is this band alive to day?

  • @xmoonsx They split up in 1983. You could find lots of information at Wikipedia, check it out.

  • can someone please send me the studio version of this song? i can't find it anywhere.. :(

  • You can buy Mjötviður til Fóta, which was a CD released in 2001. Check on the Internet...

  • Tú y un puñado de palurdos de pueblo se confunden y no entienden que esta es una canción antifascista. Es una burla a los dictadores, no una alabanza. Por favor...

  • People who don´t get the sarcasm in the song and call them nazis, should spend a night outside on a mountain in iceland, to get the head clear.

  • my favorite song ever

  • The singer, Magnus, is currently dating my mother, so I find this insanely Epic

  • I wanted to comment on JJsandal's upload of this video and just realised he blocked me (personally) WTF !!

  • Loving this song

  • they only used softguns during the execution of the icelandick primeminister,so they had to beat him to death afterwards.

  • Where can I find the lyrics to this?

  • @pianoman74 Yeah but was not generally available, not even in Germany so hardly an inspiration to anyone , by your reckoning these guys are obviously more inspired by Heine, one of them is even blond and has a similar hairdo. Sorry but importation of German records stopped in 1976 in Iceland, if the bands were not on UK labels (Grauzone, TD, Kraftwerk, DAF et. al.) or on Sky (imported for a couple of years in the early 80's) no German artist inspired anything over there.

  • @reiknir pre-dated? Oh, that's what you think! :) His first album came in 1979 :)) And I'd say his sunshine-blond hairdo on the cover comes very close to German schlager singer Howard Carpendale ;-)

  • @pianoman74 This pre-dated Grönemeyer, this is recorded 80/81

  • "Favorite thinking man's band"
