@NerfTheBrightWizards Mad late response, but i just saw this.

As usual it just comes down to having a decent rig. This one isn't anything super crazy but WHO wasn't the most demanding game either.

E8400 overclocked to 4 Ghz

gigabyte EP45-UD3P motherboard (really great bios for overclocking)

8 Gigs DDR II - PC 8500 @ 1066 Mhz (Corsair Dominators W / fan)

EVGA GTX 285 OC'd

Velociraptor 10,000 RPM 150 Gig (x2, running in RAID 0)

A chepo case that i modded to use 6 fans and custom LED's

Also a Tuniq Tower 120 CPU cooler (Giant and heavy, But keeps my OC'd cpu cool even during summer and full load)

Kingston 700 W, Modular PSU (dual fans and lighting)

LG DvD / CD optical drive (with Light-scribe)

only cost about 1500 back when i built it. Like i said the cpu and gpu are overclocked and i was runing vista at the time.

Game settings were completely maxed out, which was no problem for the rig to handle, and i simply used fraps.

i guess that could be the pivoting factor. I used fraps but kept the recording settings high, i.e. full size.

Also i play on an HD LCD TV as a monitor, so the resolution was 1920 x 1080 p. Obviously recording at a higher resolution will increase quality.

Another tip is to disable sound recording. It ties up horsepower when you will most likely add an audio track during your edit.

finally, its important to use decent video editing software

i used corel something, i forget, been a while and i use something different now. point is, you need decent editing software. Initially when you fraps in full size at such resolution your video files will be huge like 12 gigs for a few min.

to post on you tube, you will obviously have to sacrifice some quality, however on most decent apps, after your done editing there is a final format for you tube button that will keep quality as high as you tube limits it.

my only issue with Nkari is that im colour blind and thus i often pick up the wrong orb -_- this seriously hinders my solo tanking attempts
