@Willredd94 I don't know if you understand the rules of the Senate, most legislation requires 60 votes. In the 09-10 Congress, Dems had full control, and the GOP senate minority broke a record for fillibusters in a single congress. Recently the GOP House rejected a payroll tax holiday extension that easily passed the Senate 89-10, and the Senate GOP blasted the House GOP. Senate GOP members encurraged the House to pass it. That shows how the House has been operating under Boehner & Cantor.

@rjl1184 The House has passed dozens of bills throughout the entire year, which the Democratic-led Senate refuses to vote or debate on.

One year later, Congress approval ratings hit all time lows in the 20% rang, while Obama stays between 40 to 50%.
Landslide elections in 2006, 2008, 2010, and now likely again in 2012. If congress continues to do nothing.

We need to make sure that blue area is one column or less.

Although I'm not thrilled that the GOP has taken a majority of House and Senate, it actually could be a blessing for Obama in disguise. Because now it won't be so easy for them to point fingers and say, "Oh well, everything is all your (Democrat's) fault" because now if they try to criticize, they will naturally have to take some of the heat, too.
All I can say is THANK GOD. Too bad we didn't take senate, though. On to 2012!!!
