[DOOM Historic] v1.0sw E1M2 bug

Being curious about the differences between the IWAD files from the DOOM shareware versions leads to a potential video series.

This first one's an interesting one. The line outside of the secret door was originally a repeatable open-and-close door. The main reason this line is a door is because a Deathmatch player spawns in this outdoor area. It was changed in v1.1 to a one-time door open most likely due to what you see in this video.

how do you find these changes? wow, you either have a very good eye for changes, or you are using a program that tells you the differences between wads

I recorded the whole thing from dosbox! You can too. Also, if you only have Doom for windows, you can patch it to the dos versions if you search around.

I love that old 486 doom midi sound. I dont like the midi sound in the newer midi boards. id like this sound of the midi as mp3 all the doom music.
