I have an idea - why don't all of us with under water mortgages march on Washington and demand that individual's receive the same consideration as Washington gave the financial institutions. Together, we are "too big to fail".. I don't see how the economy can recover without us.
B of A is one of the worst. They lowered my aunts payment by $8 after a year in process. They had earlier approved her for a $600 decrease in payment, but that one was a "boo boo" and they rescinded the offer. But there are some good ones out there. I modify loans for a major subprime lender, and we're nothing like the banks shown in this video. If you're struggling, don't lose hope. And you DON'T DON'T DON'T need to pay a lawyer to help you. Go to loansafe.org or hopenow.org.
Remind your constituants and lenders that any homeowner with an application for assistance in review CANNOT be foreclosed on in accordance with the HAMP guidelines. "Any foreclosure action will be temporarily suspended during the trial period, or while borrowers are considered for alternative foreclsoure prevention options." Lender conveniently forget that line of the guidelines.
Awesome Congresswomen. I to am in a legitimate loan modification business and we fight for our homeowners everyday and face the same run around. I agree with bonbuttercup about persistance but disagree about calling twice a week.
kinda interesting...

Having the same issues with PNC Mortgage... 9 months of incompetence and a total run-around. Ridiculous.

File a lawsuit against the banks! That is the only thing they understand! Countless people have had to file lawsuits in order to get a modification.

The whole banking system is a fraud. Fractional reserve lending is a fraud. The fed reserve is a criminal gang. Wall street is a ponzi scheme.
