In the movie, i think thay should have chosen Kristen should to play Cherie instead... They actually look VERY similar, so it's funny that they chose her to play Joan.

don't worry, kristen and dakota will nail it. they are both wonderful actresses. although, taylor momsen would've been good because she looks older and can pull off the sex appeal whereas dakota still looks very young and naive. what she lacks in physical maturity i'm sure she will make up for in acting capability...

I was just watching the documentary called edgeplay story of the runaways. It was really good the only one not interviewed in it it Joan Jett.

Joan tried to prevent the whole thing from being made. Wouldn't let any Runaways songs be used in it either, which really weakens it.

How come?

A big long messy story; everybody has their own side to it. Also a long-running feud between Jackie and Joan (Jackie was producer of Edgeplay). Joan has no character based on Jackie in the new Runaways film. Over the summer, Joan sued Jackie for interfering in her business interests.
