"All musicians are thieves, the good ones take it somewhere new and the great ones do it more than once." -- Muddy Waters. Led Zeppelin did that with this song. I love both, they're both incredible separate from each other.

Fact being, Page didn't know I'm Confused was a Jake Holms song, and upon realization paid him handsomely and added his name to the credits of the remasters. So quit yer bitching!

God! Zep haters do your fucking homework! Here's a little mindfuck for you. Jimmy Page played on You Really Got Me and The Who's Substitute. Never got credit for either. And don't call me a "Fanboy" I'm 45 years old and teach rock history. As for Dazed, the Yardies were playing it with Beck before Jimmy joined the band. Led Zep were the New Yardbirds and carried on the setlist as they had 6 weeks under contract to make an album to tour on. It wasn't till the 3rd album they had a chance to write.

well, it's not really this version which Plant took it from... Small Faces made a cover of this song, but it was called "You Need Loving"... that's what Plant took the vocals from...

@AliceNchainz011 Or you can at least give the originals credit.

You never heard Whole Lotta Love? It's a clear rip off.

Ridiculous. That may be the case with some of the old old blues, but not tracks like "You Need Love" or "Killing Floor." Or "Blackwaterside" or "Dazed and Confused" which weren't even American blues songs.

'Dazed and Confused' was just another example of Zeppelin's plagiarism. They didn't just rip off black artists. Check out the original by Jake Holmes, never credited or reimbursed by Zeppelin just like so many others.
