Congress is awakening to its Constitutional obligations on matters of war and peace

In the past two months we sparked the great debate on war and on war powers, the implications of which will continue to be felt in this nation and around the world. Soon the war in Libya, and the ongoing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, will go beyond foreign policy issues. They will become domestic issues, financial security issues.

@Ansonidak The choice I referenced was about who won the election. To be clear I wish the American public would have elected a Democrat or even a Democrat that wouldn't cave on every issue he campaigned on, and let me be clear I am not suggesting that the President should rule with an iron clad presence. Simply that when he make concessions they not be an 85-15% concession to begin with.
