the guy tapped out like 200 times but he still continued lol

Herniated 5th through 7th discs in your neck if you wait to tap out. Mine have herniated over time and it leads to constant migraines. They do permanent damage so that is how they eventually became illegal. This guy is a great teacher...good display and excellent communication. On the other hand, as a self defense move you can rip somebodies neck up fast in a situation where you are in a fight with another BJJ guy or wrestler. Better to know all about them than to write them off as not good.

I would not want to be Bryan. That poor sod was scared as hell getting his ACL ripped out of him

poor bryan

not true. ask ryan hall, most of his recent wins are from heel hooks.

Brian let you do that to him, I'm not sure what the sarcastic taunting was for..?

@eddie2593 control the wrist well first , but if they get that deep in iti would say one elbow one on wristand kimuraor whatever but if your talking about the leg lock i think you should research for yourself

can u guys please make a tutorial on how to do a Flying Scissor Heel Hook

I've always had a long and weak neck. For some reason, I feel like my opponents sense where my weakness lies and they always attack me in the neck. I fucking hate the can opener. It requires no skill what so ever. Some douchebags in the dojo I go to, don't seem to realize the dangers this move possesses.

i think neck cranks, specially can opener and heal hooks are the most unrespected submissions in practice.
like mr. owens said, you pull the heal to your nose and make it tight (i love that concept, thank you so much) and if they try to roll out out of any leg lock, your forced to let go because you don't want to hurt your training partner.
when you do the can opener you go slow(just like any submission) but people resist and won't open the gaurd. when they should.
awsome upload, thanks
nice submission, but it's kinda of dangerous to interlock your fingers like that isn't it ?

I think Keith is just showing the mechanics of the move. If you look at 1:47 he doesn't interlock them. I wouldn't read into it too much.
