Group (VRG) event Sept 19-21 at New Jersey Motosports Park. There was also a vintage air show...if you watch the video, you may see some WW II planes.
If my car sounds "luggy", it's because it was stuck in fourth gear the entire weekend.
The red #39 car in this video is the Ardent Alligator. It won the 1949 Watkins Glen Grand Prix (with Miles Collier driving and co-owned by his brother, Sam). The car was later owned by Cameron Argetsinger; the man who created the Watkins Glen Grand Prix Race Course.
I was there with my son and a good friend of mine on Saturday. Did'nt get to watch much racing because the airshow went on non-stop all day. We plan on doing some tracktime with our euro-sportbikes next season. I have a Triumph Daytona 675 and he has a pair of Aprilia RSVR's. There were some unique autos there as well as some unique aircraft. BTW, Sorry to hear about your gearing problem. Still looks like you had a blast. Watch for some of my video of the airshow...Nice driving
