I get it. It is deeper than the beats, it is about silence the truth or the awareness of what many call conspiricy. I see clearly. Television and music is a way to get messages to the mass. Think about who control the media. Change the message and get heard. Get heard if you keep the message as they want the world to see you.
The magic has gone, anyone can create a beat or lift a sample nowadays, it's no longer clever. All of the skill has been removed from the genre, the graffiti, breaking, scratching, beatboxing etc. There used to be excitement in the music with the likes of Mr Magic and World Famous Supreme Team but now it is too painful to listen to. The kindest thing is to put it out of it's misery and lay it to rest.
@prejorist I think he's sayin the world wide famous artist who didnt sell out, meaning eminem, but other wise the rappres u named, is wats left, but wu tang hasnt made anythin lately, technique cant come out of underground cause of the illuminati shit, i hope he stays underground, we dont want to lose him to the industry like we lost tupac
@avpkid345 immortal technique, method man, redman, cyne, the last emperor, cunninlyguists, grieves, felt, atmosphere, jedi mind tricks, prod, type, brother ali, diabolic, evidence, budo, son ryze, r.a. the rugged man, aesop rock, common, cypress hill, pacewon and mr.green, nas, rza, gza the genius, ill bill, common market... the list goes on.. rap isnt dead and gone its still alive and kicking. If your to ignorant to see that then your not a true fan of hip hop.
@avpkid345 KRS, Masta Ace, Rakim, Nas, eight out of nine of the Wu, Jadakiss, Redman, LL, Prodigy, Bun B, CL Smooth, Chuck D, Canibus, Busta, and a ton of cats who only came out more recently like Immortal Technique.
Just because two niggas dead doesn't mean Hip Hop is too, nobody is bigger than Hip Hop. To say that Hip Hop is dead, and that there are no good MCs left is garbage, it's insulting to those of us who live it, and anyone who does live it knows that it's alive. Turn off your radio.
