This is dumb as hell. The Focus is driving much faster than the pickup and the pickup weigh 3 times more than the Focus at least. The chance of such a crash occurring like this are so small. Maybe I will post a video of me crashing a bus driving at 10MPH into an F-250 driving at 40MPH then we can all laugh at the fucked F-250?

This gave me a boner :/

I say the Roads need bigger trucks to clean off the Roads of all the Idiots!
-
Banned? Never, People that drive little piss on car's need to slow down and stop driving like idiots! I drive a Ford F-250 and when they tail gate me I hit the Brakes and they go under my truck and let me tell you this; their car is always totaled! Have respect on the Road, or just stay off it! Everyone is in a rush to Die! I have Never hit another car in my driving history, and why? Because I drive Normal and I have respect for people and I don’t tail gate people!

Damn now I can imagine if my lifted f250 hit a small car at that speed. It would prob smash it down like a can. With those of you saying these trucks need to be banned need to understand why they exist. They do the workload that small cars can't. I don't see how a compact car is going to pull a 10,000 pound trailer. It would actually be more dangerous on the road than a truck would. This just teaches us how to be safe.

thats what happens when you buy a cheap compact car. It's your fault....
-
I could hear the truck go... bitch please

@wootness3000 The general idea behind that is to engineer crumple zones that absorb energy in non crucial areas of the vehicle. For instance, a lot of compact vehicles have motors which are designed to absorb the impact energy, and drop under the firewall. The other aspect of increasing safety is to design a rigid frame that transfers energy around the cabin. However, all of this drives up the cost of the vehicle, which would make the car like the Focus much more expensive.
-
@LXnastynotch93 Or to redesign the front-end to be more energy absorbing. Duh.

@wootness3000 You can't make an F250 smaller or lighter than it is, because then it becomes an F150, and an F150 becomes a Ranger. The Superduty F250 and F350 are as large as they are because they need to be to tow and haul their respective payloads. If you decrease the GVW (gross vehicle weight) it means less towing. Sorry, but the only way to solve this problem is to make compact cars more safe, and to be more cautious when driving.
ehh a lil duct tape should fix the f250, but not to sure about the focus...might need some gorrilla glue for that
