Chancellor's Message (2007)

Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Chancellor James H. McCormick addresses faculty and staff at the beginning of the 2007-2008 academic school year.

Chancellor McCormick covers such topics as new services for veterans; the growth of online education; increased support and better retention rates for underrepresented and underserved students; improved access and opportunities for Minnesota residents; outreach to Minnesota's diversifying population; state legislative appropriations; capital investments; improvements to the system's technology infrastructure; and new student services.

Minnesota State Colleges and Universities is the largest provider of new college graduates in the state of Minnesota. The system comprises 32 colleges and universities, including 25 community and technical colleges and seven state universities.
