I have the original vinyl of this but for some reason it's not on any of these links/downloads. The original is by far the best.

I absolutely LIVE for this artist. I was in my teens when Me and You and a Dog names Boo came out. I was actually dating someone when this came out that looked alot like him, including the hair style. Ah, Memories! Yours MUST include Lobo. Thank you for sharing these wonderful Songs and also the lyrics..Great stuff. 5 star rating from me!!!

Lobo was one of my favorite artists in my coming of age years. For what it's worth, this is not the original version of "A Simple Man."

@wisereyes- you are correct sir! This is a version Lobo did a few years later. The Warner Music Group owns the audio of Lobo's early work in the 70s. For that reason in the U.S. , Warner will NOT allow the audio to be posted on youtube! Ron

@rwells47 Yes. One of the reasons music has become so terrible over the years is because none of the record companies care anything about music. They want money. That attitude has been around since Woodstock in 69, but at least during the 70's.. the performer could grow, explore and experiment, and therefore the music grew. Now it's all cut, and paste. One "artist" sounds as the first. And corporations want money wherever they can. WMG has taken this trend to idiocy. Thanks for posting!
