can someone explain what's the point of fingerpicking on metal strings? when u're playing certain songs it can be necessary in order to produce that particular sound. but what's the point in doing it all the time??? I don't get it. after all it's just inconvenient to play fast lead solos

I´m also a guitar player. And billy gibbons is one of the texas shuffle blues guitar masters... that´s undeniable. Even eric clapton respect him. And as for jeff beck I agree with you.

@robmatlivingstone billy gibbons. his work in the early zz-top (c. tres hombres era) was fantastic. hendrix himself declared gibbons to be one of the best young guitarists of the time. this isnt his best performance, but both his tone and licks are incredible.
