@mspinkytee I'm not sure why you're being defensive or arguing semantics. If you watch the video again, I never say that a circle is the only shape and I never said that curly hair is "unusual". As I stated before, I use the word "irregular" with the science definition of "lacking continuity or evenness". Organic systems are rarely geometric, and can be described as "irregular" when lacking symmetry or even arcs.

@mspinkytee It's true that curly hair may have more cysteine amino acids than straighter hair types, as it requires the sulfur bridges to keep its curl. I didn't say that round follicles are "not normal", I used the word "irregular" which means that it's not the same shape or smoothness all the way around. Straight hair may have oval or oblong follicles, but may still be fairly smooth. However every person has a different shape, I'm simply reporting on averages.

@KittyLover494 Most people grow their hair at a rate of 6 inches a year (mine is just a little faster, around 8 inches per year). There are serums that claim to make hair grow faster but I wouldn't trust them; as they may force all your follicles into anagen at the same time and then once you stop using the product, your follicles could go into telogen at the same time and give you the impression that all your hair is falling out. Just being patient and gentle with your hair is best. :)

@fashionspy96 My pleasure. :) My hair seems to change depending on the day as well; sometimes it's wavy, sometimes curly. :)

If you put things on your hair like feathers or hair clips, does this affect your hair growth too?
lilabug0306 15 hours ago
@lilabug0306 There shouldn't be any effect on your hair growth by putting clips or or clip-on extensions in your hair, as long as you're not pulling on the hair using tight weaves or glues, and as long as you're careful to not rip the hair when you remove the accessories. :)

Hi can dandruff be cured?=)
starsspeckle 2 days ago
@starsspeckle There are several zinc-based shampoos out there to kill the fungus that may cause dandruff, and you can also use natural remedies like apple cider vinegar. If you Google "ACV for dandruff" some recipes will come up for you. :)

How do I make the chlorine and sun less damaging to my hair?
narutardsunite13 4 days ago
@narutardsunite13 Before you go swimming in a chlorine pool, you can saturate your hair with regular water, or you can coat it in oil so your hair can't absorb the chlorine. Then you don't have to worry quite as much about the chlorine/sun bleaching reaction.
