I recently bought myself the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD for Mac for two reasons: to start a VHS to DVD transfer business ( http://tapestodigital.com ); and to begin converting our old VHS home videos to DVD. Unfortunately VHS tapes are quickly degrading and will eventually not work, so transferring them to DVD is the next best thing.

Questions about the product? Just ask and I'll try to answer! Thanks for watching!

  • how do you install the roxio disc onto the mac when i do it it comes up with text shizz its doing my head in!

  • @jackTHErampage - nope. you really only need the hardware of which there are plenty of options, such as Sabrent. The only reason for the mac/pc requirement with Roxio is due to the software they provide for you to install. But, you don't even need that really. You can get the hardware and pipe your signal directly to iMovie.

  • @thecreativeone is this the only vhs to dvd for mac you can get

  • so this is a crappy capture card?

  • Could you use this to capture xbox360 :P

  • I have lg rc388, first you connect it to your TV you put a whs tape in and a rrw dvd and then via you TV you dub from vhs to the dvd or vs. it's real easy it will play in any dvd player and also on your pc

  • do you have a tutorial on how to make it into a dvd, because i am lost on that part.

  • um hey for the soft where do u have to down load it in ? plzz msg me back

  • I have this product and like it but am trying to figure out how to format my videos to upload to Facebook or You Tube.

  • It only comes with basic toast. you can burn them but only playable on the comp. you find out after opening that you need the $99 version to convert to other formats or to save it as a disk image. cant open them with Imoviehd or i movie.
