  • @bradbullock4 ya i have a holley 675 street avenger and im not very fond of it i had a carter afb /edelbrock 650 when the companies murged and i liked the edelbrock a ton better.

  • @beammark well a 4 speed is one of the upgrade i well be doing aswell. The car currently has 275 gears, and a fmx 3 speed automatic. well the edlbroke 650cfm carb be big enogh with the extream energey cam and air gap intake?

  • @bradbullock4 if you don't have to have that rumpy idle a extreme energy is way better for everything. everywhere from 0-6000rpm the extreme energy is better from my experience.both are a huge upgrade from stock! you also have very low vacume with the thumper and we had to re curve the distributer so we could unhook the vacume advance. and for the thumper your also supposed to have 350 gears or lower. i would've kept it if i have a 4 speed but with an auto it was to much work

  • @beammark so would it be best to go with the extream energy cam instead of the thumper? as well as the air gap intake?

  • @bradbullock4 just a thumper . when i ordered they just had this one and a mutha thumper and to use the mutha thumper you had to have the heads machined so we just got the thumper but it was terrible for low end it wouldnt even spin the tires without power breaking so i put an extreme energy cam in it from comp cams and some scorpion pedistool mount roller rockers because the stock ones were really wearing with the additional lift and now it has all the same high end but a ton more mid n low

  • @red1950stude great but i switched the cam again and went for a low end cam though not as cool of idle though but much quicker

  • awesome car, the Cleveland sounds great! I have a similar setup w/o the cam, how is it for power?

  • NICE!!! Sounds great!!!
