I had the same exact reaction("REALLY?? SERIOUSLY??") when I heard of the switch back to plastic. I was talking about this with a friend tho & he had an interesting idea: that Frito-Lay made up the "complaints" in a PR move to get back to plastic because the compostible is too pricey to manufacture. I don't know if there's any truth behind his theory, but it would not surprise me in the slightest.
