I was less excited about Christmas too. I think its cause when you're a kid, two weeks before christmas at school you stop work, you make stain-glass windows out of tissue paper, and practice for the school play, have a christmas lunch, decorate your classroom, then at home you watch all the christmas specials and get really excited because you'll get a load of gifts you couldn't buy for yourself. When you're older, with a job, none of that is true. :(
