I think the Biggest issue facing the UNITED Kingdom at the moment is staying just that, UNITED. labour need to be pro union. I've always like a more federal system... Maybe give England their assembly, rename scotland's Parliament an assembly and let the home nations make little laws and keep the tax and military issues under the UK. There needs to be a cutoff to devolution!

I see plenty traffic wardens & security guards on the street trying to enforce the law as there is never a policeman in site just 50 yobs here there and everywhere drinking, spitting at people, theiving from shops (yep I've seen them do it plenty times), riding wrecklessly on mopeds (no helmet, they will wish they had done different if their head hits the road at 30mph). Knife crime is also pushing up business for kevlar body armour products, that just goes to show you how unsafe it is -1st comm

Are you going to make up for the short fall on response teams as many officers have been taken off for neighbourhood teams. I just say this as it is leading to a increase in time that police can get to calls including the emergency calls as there are less officers.

I believe the public have the right to have officers comes as quick as possible when they ring 999. You need to replace the response team numbers or more people will get hurt or worse in the delay in coming.

It is time to cut red tape, and more stop and search's without political correctness. If an area is highly white, then it makes sense more whites get stopped, if a area is highly black, then it makes sense the most stopped should be black, and the same for pakistanis, sikhs e.t.c.. yet even in high multi cultral communitys, like newham for example, white people are stopped more shown on the yearly stats to appease groups comdemning on racism cards issues.
