  • i wish i would have seen this like um 10 years ago

  • The K2500xs is an awesome machine. I bought one at the end of their manufacture and it didn't have the problems of the 1st run of the K2600. I've had it since the fall of '99 and I compare it to newer "Workstations" from yamaha, korg, roland, etc...when I visit the local mega-music stores, and the SOUNDS still win out! Kurzweil developed non-obsolescence operating systemware and the ability to read other manufacturers samples. Ray Kurzweil is a futurist-so could I expect any less from his company?

  • @mamushkin Hi, I have a K2500 with Piano and Orchestral but no KDFX, can I really load K2600 programs on it and they will sound better than what I have now?

    Thanks!

  • You're really good man. Can it sound like a piano????

  • How does the Kurzweil K2600x's action compare to modern day keyboards such as the yamaha Motif or roland Fantom G8? I have the opportunity to buy one for $800, but I am not sure if I should get it... I need your help!

  • This demo is not good, just a guy playing different sounds but is not showing what the keyboard is actually capable of.

  • @vjrei

Anytime, I can prove to you on any K2500 how true is its superiority. If you're just a bit handy, the original sound sets can even be replaced withthe K2600 with no problem, and that really time-warps it into the 21 century. join in the KDFX option and it's an undescibeable monster. The fact you can operate 32 controllers on every single sound, the immensely hillarious synth engine, combine arpeggiators with real time sequences shall blow your mind.

  • bravo! però wakeman docet, o no?

  • Feel likes Vince Dicola

  • @enigmahack Definitely! I got one too and I've found it great for creating some sounds. Seamless patch switching is a great feature too.
