Sgian Dubh, of Marietta, GA, plays Crooked Jack, followed by Johnny Cope; February 2007. A different take on two traditional Scottish songs. The first is about building the hydro dams in the Highlands; the second is a satirical tale of the Battle of Tranent where the Jacobites routed a superior English force.

  • I enjoyed listening to their renditions of these traditional tunes. However, I would hardly call them new or different versions because they sound exactly like the Seven Nations versions from the Big Dog album. Still, fantastic job.

  • A couple of cool, different versions of these songs. I like them a lot!

  • I borrowed your video.. It's on johnnie maccrackens website under the new video section. Thanks... JM
