it's funny how people misjudged these guys. clearly, these guys are fans of MGMT. this is just a reaction to McCartney fans not enjoying MGMT like they do. one of them said, 'they stopped listening to good music in 1975,' referring to the oldies [probably] who don't enjoy good modern music. they look glad when they saw these girls dancing/singing to electric feel because it just means that they are enjoying it as much as they do. just my observation.

This always happened at the arena rock shows I went to in the 70's, except the post hippie greasers would boo. They were supposed to be hip but they were as closed minded as their parents. Punk started as a rejection of this.

Just from reading the first two pages of comments I can tell that almost everyone is misunderstanding these guys. The guys in this video ARE fans of MGMT, and they're pointing out that they are perplexed by the fact that no one else there is enjoying the music. Sure, it's a little annoying, but at least they're making this stupid video for a good cause.

Paul McCartney personally requested MGMT to open this show for him because he has been fascinated with their work. Fortunately these giant douche bags are incapable of recognizing a good thing when it's right in front of them.
