After Ian Laperriere smashed Lidstrom into the boards, causing Nick to go to the dressing room, Aaron Downey strikes revenge later on and beats down Laperriere. Laperriere then in the 3rd, trys and extracts his own revenge (shown in this video) after a beat down from Downey.

Includes the first Wings goal by Chelios.

Since the late 90s-early 2000's the Avs went completely downhill and the wings stayed consistant as one of the best teams. Still Avs fans try to talk down to wings fans, I find that quite hilarious

1.) Our PLAYERS took Scotty to the playoffs too smart one.

2.) "Babcocks plays" took Wings to the finals in '08 (Cup winning year) and again in '09. Can't be in the finals every year in this day and age don't matter who the coach is.

3.) It's rather disgusting I have to have this conversation with a so typed "HUGE wings fan"; I'm not going to waste my time with you any longer, furthermore you're an embarrassment disgrace to TRUE Red Wing fans.
