Rachel's Challenge is about a young girl, who was killed at the Columbine High School Massacre on April 20, 1999. She was probably the nicest girl you could ever meet. For example, there was a "special" boy who was being picked on, so Rachel sees, and she walks up and the guy was a huge football player! So she said "If you wanna beat him up you're gonna have to go through me first!" and he was thinking 'Okay, if I beat up a girl I'm gonna look bad...but if she beats me up I'm gonna look worse!' so he ran off. Also, there was a new girl at school that day. No one knew her name, and it seemed like no one knew she existed. So she was at lunch, sitting all alone. Rachel walks over and asks her if she wants to sit with them. The girl said no, but that wouldn't stop Rachel. She walked back to her table then dragged all her friends over, and they sat with her.

This is Rachel's Challenge:
1. Eliminate Prejudice.
By looking for the best in others.
2.Dare to Dream-Set goals, keep a journal
3.Choose your influences- Input determines output
4.Kind words-Small acts of kindness=HUGE impact
5.Start a CHAIN REACTION with family and friends

So, be kind to others. Who knows? You may just start a chain reaction.

Its not a big deal. Get YOUR facts straight. I was really confused at the time with my personal life that I dont feel like telling you about and wrote that.

a person came to our school and talked about rachels challenge it was so touching it just breaks my heart these kids should have gotten help and not killed the people. i cryed when i saw the video it just came to the point where i just let go all of the hatred that i have towards people because i would never want anyone to get hurt<3
