  • Lennon with glasses, Lennon without glasses!!!! two different video

  • Audio sounds like Hamburg, not Essen. Video appears to be a mix of Hamburg, Essen, and Munich.

  • 7 people did not carve their numbers on George's wall.

  • @omarengo Wow! you should be a detective.

  • I was there and still have my tickets something I'll never forget :)

  • I met someone who said he was at the Beatles gig at Grugahalle Essen in 1966!

    Crazy!! Un-fxxx-believable!!!

Wikipedia, article List of The Beatles' live performances, i guess they were named so back in te days by eppi i could guess, right after that follows the Spring 1964 UK Tour, 5 concerts.

  • @OropherThranduil Alright then,I don't mind.Just how you got to the idea about the "mini winter US Tour"though?I mean,it's the first time I hear the expression.2 TV shows and 2 concerts are making this "mini winter tour"?

  • @GergelAni

yeah, i know, washington was part of their mini Winter 1964 US Tour in february 64, on 9th they played the sluuivan show in NY, on 11th they played the washington colliseum, on 12 they returned to NY for a Carnegie hall concert and then they made their second sullivan show in miami.

that's their first american tour, you're talking about their (First) US & Canada Tour summer tour.

  • @OropherThranduil OK man,no worries...but still...Washington DC-their first or second US concert-I'm not sure about it,was NOT part of their first American tour. The tour was in August ,or something ,and DC was in February.

It's not a big deal ,really. It's just good for the information though :)

    cheers

  • @GergelAni

hmmm, lets look at all my live boots from their tours:

you're right with boys, but i'm also right in that they palyed i wanna be your man in their first ever us concert in washington in 64, i guess the most famous one from that tour, the moving stage, that it was recorded completely on video and just being their first right between the sullivan shows.

but with long tall sally your also right, i switched that with the what i call far east tour.

  • @OropherThranduil "Boys" was played during the whole 1964 US tour. The (un-)famous Kansas City concert was in 1964-it was one of the few The Beatles couldn't get a full house, the audience I mean."Long Tall Sally"was played during the whole 1966 last US tour.

    cheers,mate
