I just tried to do this but broke my drill bit off ...I mean, its pinned, just with a drill bit instead of a roll pin. Now when I want to replace the stock, I'm going to have to replace the buffer tube as well LOL

What size roll pin and drill bits did you use?

In NY you can have and use 30 round "pre-ban" (pre 9/94) magazines. I bought 20 "dated" pre-ban USGI's from Rouge Tactical here in NY at $20.00 each. You can find him on Facebook. He also sells non dated USGI @ $18.00 ea. To avoid any hassals with the law I only buy the dated ones. They can't argue with the date stamp.

Why are there no vids on how to take out a pin that was already in it? Say you move to a new state like I plan on doing...going from a pin-only state to a collapsible state...do I have to buy a whole new stock???

@Killbore1 What kinda rifle do you have? If it a stock ar-15 that already came with a pined on stock than yes you will have to buy a new stock and buffer tube because the factory buffer tube is not drilled for adjustments unlike mine i can just simple unpin it and will be collapsible
