Buddhists celebrate the Buddha's Day Ceremony on the Full Moon Day of Kason on 17th of May: The Buddha's Birthday.
Over 2,550 years ago, the Unrivaled Omniscient Buddha was born on the full moon day of the month of Kason, upon which He attained the Enlightenment at the age of thirty-five and also upon which He attained Parinibbana, the demise at the age of eighty. In commemoration of these three significant and holy events associated with the precious life of the Buddha; People observed the Buddha's Day, the full moon day of Kason by holding the ceremonies for Consecration and Water Pouring to Bo tree as well as the religious associations and Buddhist devotees traditionally offered flowers, lights; water to Temples, Buddha Pagodas; it's shrines around the World.
