sorry, but for three years youngstown was the crime capitol. However, some areas like austintown or boardman (not all of bordman) are safe. I live here tho, and i like it.

the city youngstown isn't that safe, it used to be a murder capitol, but im sure a suburb in the area is safe, much more safe than maryland though lol

that is lovely My husband and I are thinking about moving to youngstown/boardman area in your opinion is it a good safe place to raise a family?we are from baltimore and the crime rate is insane.little kids go around killing people because they want to be gang members. my friends 17 year old cousin was beat to death by 12 and 14 year olds with baseball bats.i think it was about 6 of em
