  • @glorytoyahweh1 Show you where Jesus condones slavery? Better yet: Show me where He condemns it! Please, take your time . . . it was only the most immoral undertaking in the time He lived . . . waiting . . . still . . waiting. . . that's OK . . . take your time . . . let me know where that book of "timeless moral truths" condemns the most egregious immorality in history . . . still waiting . . . what? . . . the Lord gives tips on beating slaves in Exodus . . . goodness!

  • Some people need to lighten up and learn to laugh. Betty is using satire and humor to show how ignorant, ridiculous, and hypocritical some people are in America. For those who are so deeply offended by Betty words: they need to ask themselves how strong their faith is. It shouldn't bother you in the least if your faith is strong. It's no different than someone saying that the sky is green. And no, the sky is not falling!

  • LOVE THIS WOMAN!! :D

  • @MrsBettyBowers Slavery in those times ran the range from chattel bondage to the stewards to houses. It was the lowest social class of the time. Jesus would not have condoned slavery anymore than he would condone poor people scraping a minimum wage at WalMart. Moreover, the verses you chose were him using slavery as a metaphorical device in a parable, which doesn't indicate if he condoned slavery or not. I normally don't nitpick but you did tell me to look it up. I like your videos, though.

  • @Virusacid no, its not out of context. 'Slaves, serve your masters as you would serve your father in heavan.' i heard no comment in the bible that said, 'Slaves, demand freedom, for you are equal to your brothers and sisters.' get it right, jesus' morality was as good as lukewarm bath water. not quite good enuf.

  • Deven u rock! :)
