Part 3 of our 2008 KLR 650 video test. This episode focuses on off-road use and just riding on one incredible road. This is our first sampling of the KLR off-road. Much more adventure to come. Part 4 will have more off-road, San Francisco and more!

  • Just bought a 2011 blue klr 650 tonight.can't wait to ride this year up in the aderondacks.I hope it nicer than my 06 drz400.and I really love that bike to.

  • @MrDjh66 Congrats! You have a beautiful area to ride in, when it's warm enough. I drove a rental car all over that area when I worked for Yamaha. I think you'll find the KLR much more comfortable, easy going and not so hyper when revved out on the highway. I bet you come to absolutely love the fuel capacity as well. Enjoy!

  • okay ive got a question, im planning on purchasing my first motercycle, i have my eye on 2, the Kawasaki klr650, and the BMW f650gs, which do you recommend?

  • @nephilum1 OK, I'm guessing you're not going off-road. Being new, the KLR is certainly tall, which you shouldn't be dealing with at this point.. You would probably be better off with the much lower F650GS. MVR

  • What a beautiful location and filming, felt very peaceful, thanks for your review.

  • Excellent video. I have a 2009 KLR and it is a true joy for its simplicity.

  • Imagine getting lost between San Fran & Eureka....with a 70-foot long semi-truck!!! Your KLR video was great but it brought back horrible memories of a road I ended up on with "Redwoods in the roadway" just like your video! OMG!!

  • Thanks for nice comment mvr I am sure o will enjoy
