I have a "pack" of 7 dogs, and we go to my uncle's who has 11 siberians, total of 18 dogs, and I don't have to be an alpha to make my dogs obey. They know that I lead, but never have I used alpha role on ANY of my dogs. I also worked with alot of wolfdogs, and never did I need to play alpha role.
The alpha role can cause disaster, dogs are more entitled to challenge the Alpha.
Also, never have any of my dogs growled or bitten any of each other. A single stare is enough.

@dooggyloover E Collars have their place when used with dogs that need to have an off leash recall.

@boxofsarpobjects1 certifications are a sham. I can charge $100 for a printed certificate and you will be a "certified" dog trainer.

This is a great looking dog. I can really appreciate this now that i have a Mal. Very hard to keep focused. nice work. Lots of energy- tail wagging, and attentive. love it.
This dog is a robot. A lot of force training is used. Notice the chin on the ground during the platz.

@MrXrepublican - LOL Actually the dog was trained with a lot of motivation (toy/food), and knows that if he gives the behaviors desired, he gets rewarded. And he'll do anything for his reward. A dog can be taught to put it's head down in a long down using food/toy just as easily as compulsion, if not easier.
