  • Martin Scorsese's Gangs of New York is a true cinematic masterpiece, and these end credits featuring the music of U2 are breathtaking.

Although, I have to agree, the original soundtrack version of "The Hands that Built America" is much more powerful.

  • Sorry guys, I wans't able to keep the original sountrack when I made the file... I just needed it for teaching purposes.

BUT I AGREE WITH YOU ALL... The ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK IS WAY BETTER

  • Schmaltzy and inappropriate music to have dubbed over the excellent original musical score.

  • You're right piehole... but I did my best. I needed the video for teaching purposes.

The software I used was too rudimentary, I couldn't keep the music.

  • wtf the original end music was beutiful y replace it if it aint broke ?!

  • Sorry... I posted a comment above, trying to explain what happened.

My software didn't let me keep the sound.

    I agree with you....

  • @DarkRubberDucky "for some reason this ending is a little cheesy to me". Well, yes and no. What is say is that future generations moved on, w/o referencing the events of those turbulent times. Thus, unlike the mideast and much of the world today, Americans have learned to bury the axe, get along, and become one nation.

  • I hate Bono.

Why would they pick a mick to sing such a jingoistic tune anyway?

  • I love this movie. But for some reason this ending is a little cheesy to me. It almost seems like they just wanted to throw the two towers in there at the end. But maybe it'll grow on me.

  • Martin Scorsese has done it again

    outstangin!!!!!!!!! *claps*

  • no pistols.

    good bwoy.

  • love that skyline scene!
