this is my small Orchid Mantis. It likes jumping when it can't reach places by climbing. At the end of the video it jumps right into the Camera.

your vids are always so artfully & tastefully done. watching your vids always makes me miss keeping hc's. i love the fact that they are so calm but deadly , i miss their exquisite beauty & perfection. i kept a group of 7 seven a couple of years ago, but never managed to get an ooth (1st try at hc's, didnt have the timing down) really like exo-terra nanos and have been thinking about giving hc's another try. pretty sure i could do better this time

@MrPyromniac -in my garden. But i didn't plant a cross or something, if you keep insects for many years your garden would be full of crosses. Also i highly doubt that mantis's or insects are religious or even christian, if they have sth. like religion, we don't know anything about it and they should die like they do in nature: be eaten by predators or just die naturally in open nature and become part of the biotop "earth" again. (sorry about philosophing around, i just ha a beer ;) )

@geckotrouble when they get older they do, if you tease them. If you don't, they're ease to handle and a perfect insect pet.
