@Rapidwrestler yeah you can use the 5.4. 5.0 is easier if your a novice @wiring. dont be afraid to hit a junkyard up though. PLENTY OF GREAT PARTS FOR DIRT CHEAP ONCE YOU UNDERSTAND THAT METAL IS METAL AND AS LONG AS ITS NOT CHIPPED, DINGED,WORN OR WARPED IT WILL WORK JUST AS GOOD AS NEW with some clean up work done to'em. 5.4 is heavier but the power they create from something simple like a medium sized turbo or a s/c is amazing.
@Rapidwrestler modular that puppy. im tryna see if there's anything that'll help me do that to my block. the engines back cylinders get starved because of the way the manifold is and i think thats why she's not as funky as a gn... i've seen the 90 degree v8's with dohc heads (5.4 from outta a navigator) <====get this, plz get this. tranny bolts right up, same block as the 5.0.
@dyno323 it's not expensive just do some research...being honest straight pipes, ecu tune more powerful ignition set up and work on the rear end diff ie swap for higher ratio...it's not HARD OR EXPENSIVE ppl just tend to look for quick fixes and entire packages in stead of putting time and effort in it....I own a 89 with a 95 engine and 94 t-5 in it.
sounds like the trans went out. i know a good place that did mine. if you would like to know.

@Speedmccool385bitch would the 5.4 from a ford f-150 be any good with new camshaft, pistons, and other goods which would be easier?
